The celebrant concludes the Canon with two doxologies, commendatory statements, each with a summary and conclusion:
Per quem haec omnia, Domine, semper bona creas, sanctificas ✠, vivificas ✠, benedicis ✠, et praestas nobis.
Through whom, O Lord, you always create, sanctify ✠, quicken ✠, bless ✠, and bestow upon us all these your gifts.
The celebrant then takes the Host and the Chalice and elevates them slightly as he concludes the canon with the second doxology:
Per ✠ ipsum et cum ✠ ipso et in ✠ ipso est tibi Deo Patri ✠ omnipotenti, in unitate Spiritus ✠ Sancti, omnis honor et gloria, per omnia saecula saeculorum.
Through ✠ him and with ✠ him and in ✠ him be to you, O God the Father ✠ almighty, in the unity of the Holy ✠ Spirit, all honor and glory, world without end.
He raises his voice when pronouncing the concluding words, so that all present may ratify the prayers of the Canon and answer: Amen.
